Apply for AssistanceAngel Kiss Foundation is dedicated to helping families caring for children with cancer, who are under 19 years old, with the educational, emotional and financial assistance they need to cope with their illnesses. Angel Kiss Foundation will continue to assist families until the child is 21, if medical treatment is ongoing. We currently serve families in Northern Nevada and the Eastern Sierra including Truckee, California and Susanville, California. Our southern border is Tonopah, Nevada. Angel Kiss Foundation provides each applicant family with yearly funding based upon the organization’s budget and the specific needs of the family. The families may receive additional financial assistance above a yearly limit set by the Board of Directors, on a case by case basis as needed, when other resources are not available and the families’ needs have been confirmed by a social worker. Angel Kiss Foundation prefers to work directly with vendors, and requires receipts for reimbursement. Angel Kiss Foundation will also work with vendors to reduce payment. Angel Kiss Foundation works cooperatively with other community services to assure that families of children with cancer receive as much assistance as possible. Angel Kiss Foundation requires a completed two-page application, a letter from the child’s physician confirming the diagnoses of cancer, and a needs assessment from the family’s social worker.
