“Back to School” Fall Voice Recital hosted by Tiffanie Story Vocal Studio.  This fabulous afternoon featured ten of Tiffanie’s students performing a variety of vocal selections at the University of Nevada, Reno Music Department.  Audience members contributed $5.00 to Angel Kiss Foundation.  Special thanks to Tiffanie Story, UNR Music Department, Starsound Audio, Tiffanie’s students and their parents.

Aragon Invitational Annual Charity Golf Event began with a shotgun start at the beautiful Resort at Red Hawk.  There were great prizes, excellent food, many contests and even a chance to win a new car courtesy of Carson Dodge Chrysler. Click here for details.

Nevada unites in the fight against childhood cancer annual Childhood Cancer Awareness Day, held at Picket Park, located at 1198 Mill Street, Reno.  The free event featured a pancake breakfast, speakers, resource booths, and kid’s activities including games, prizes, bounce houses and more.  There were special appearances by Wolfie and Ronald McDonald.  Many children enjoyed sharing their stories of hope and strenght on the Wall of Courage and participated in the Beads of Courage workshops.

Chipping for Children Golf Tournament hosted by Genoa Ladies Golf Association

First Annual Angel Kiss Foundation Coed Soccer Tournament hosted by The Reno Coed Soccer League.  Participants in this two-day tournament received souvenirs, goodie bags and a special barbeque dinner. Reno Coed Soccer League was formed in 2005 as a socially competitive environment to foster lasting friendships between adult female and male soccer players through a spirit of good sportsmanship and camaraderie. The playing rules of the league enable players of all ability levels to actively participate in a team sporting event that values the inclusion of all and strives to generate family and community involvement both on and off the field.

Angels at the Lear, hosted by Angel Kiss Foundation.  Local artists auctioned 36 original angel paintings.  The paintings were also used to create the Angel Quilt and the Angel Book, which were raffled off during the event.  The quilt brought awareness to Angel Kiss Foundation while on display in the legislative building during the 2003 session, as well as the Fallon Museum and other notable locations.
